Once you have the Audacity project loaded in your window, click on the Audacity Help menu in the lower left of your window. Then select a topic by clicking on it or using the search box at the top of the screen. You may also type a search for a specific topic.
After selecting a topic, click on the little teach icon which is next to the chat window. This will highlight the Audacity tutorial guide in blue. Then you just need to click on this active mark and you will be taken right to the section you are looking for.
There is more detailed information in the following sections, and the full guide can be accessed in the blue help tab found in the lower left corner of your Audacity window. This tutorial will teach you how to use the media loading window and the media library to select various media. You can also load audio files, import voice recordings, and trim media. You can also load effects like reverb and chorus, add audio tracks, mute tracks, adjust audio levels, and more. Finally, there are editing tools like the volume editor and the effects editor.
Press the EDIT button and select the media you want to work on. To learn how to use the track name drop down list, select the Editing menu and then choose Media. The Editing window displays all the audio tracks that are currently selected and ready to work with.
The following figure shows the media loading window. It is useful for loading audio files, importing voice recordings, and trimming audio tracks. You can choose how much of an audio file to load, move the slider to start and stop playback, use the track name list, preview the media audio, change the filename of the loaded media, etc. d2c66b5586
