My name is Vipul. I like to write about things that I like doing or reading. When I was in college, I was into reading and chose to do an English Honours degree. That was very much a part of my course as I wanted to know more about the English language, and what all the great English writers wrote. Many might say that is strange, as I do not talk about movies much. However, I do like to watch movies, especially romantic comedies. It is one of my favourite reads. I will admit to you that I am one of those, who loves to read in front of the TV. This is especially true of parts of '2 Broke Girls'. But, I really like comedies. I have to admit I am a big fan of 'The Big Bang Theory'. 'House' is another great one that I enjoy. I love any kind of comedy or drama, but these are definitely my favourites. This is one of the reasons, I chose to do a BA English honours degree.

It also allowed me to read a variety of English literature. My favourite stands out as a book by a popular German Romantic poet, called 'Werke des Goethes'. It is a collection of his writings. It was used to be my favourite of all the Goethes, as I have to admit, I am not a Shakespeare fan. Reading this book, it did show me, what a great writer he is. I might add, that when I was in college, I did a German Literature degree. However, it is not worthwhile to do a degree in something, you do not really like. I think it is much kinder to yourself, to do something you enjoy. But as with all things, you need to do what is best for you. But, it still needs to be something you enjoy.

One of my favourite authors, was Saki. He does something very interesting. He has written a series of stories, which he calls, 'Stories from the bar', and I just recently discovered these stories on Project Gutenberg. Some of them are humorous. Other are poignant. However, they are all just brilliant.
